for my second trip to Lebanon County where my future husband Francis L. White was born and has family living there to this day in 2024. The first portion of this roll is devoted to one of my favorite pass times, seeing other peoples possessions and whether they are something that I would enjoy owning. I am especially enamored with the faces of the past who were in their senior years and may have been born shortly after the 1900s. The fashions are casual inspite of the women seeking out the beauty parlor to enhance their everyday appearance. Who is the woman with the monogrammed purse in #08? We have her initials in full view and it would be an easy search of her identity. Most folks are unaware of my presence with a camera which is just the way I like to shoot street photography. The 50mm lens means that I am in close range but inconspicuous enough where the Kodak Retina Reflex 3c is not as intimidating as an SLR. Maybe being a woman with curly hair and big glasses means that I am in the non-threatening category. Works for me. We see Renee White Nelson in from #10 posed in front of an old building structure in the background. The remainder of the photos are taken in Lebanon, PA where my in-laws lived. A young Eric White and a friend very naturally posed with an upside down #10 gallon crock. The last frame is of Peg and Otto Spath with their daughter Carole Spath White and son Eric.
