Here we go with more images of Chicagofest except in color slide. It was a packed crowd on a Saturday, August 9th to watch bands on the Hamm's Beer, "Pickin' the Pier," stage. I spent the afternoon with my Mom, Georgia who can been seen playing pin-ball in frames #8 and 9. I also ran into a local photographer by the name of Michael Weinstein (#3 & 4 in black tee shirt) from The Darkroom that was an independent darkroom in the Lincoln Park neighborhood that I would process my film and prints at. The mouthwatering ribs were brought to you by Arnie's Restaurant started by Arnie Morton. Read more about the infamous restaurant here. Mom and are are trying on cowboy hats in frames #10 and 11. Frame #02 shows the skyline devoid of the present day clutter of skyscrapers in 1980. Photography truly stops the clock!
