MORO BAY VISIT 1988 DAW (9)
This was a fun family visit to visit my in-laws Barbara and Jim Lewis who had moved to Los Osos, California in 1988 after living in Chicago and other cities for many years. It would be their dream retirement location and for us it opened up views of California like we had never seen them before. Ocean views, the Morro Rock that you can see in the distance in the photos in the Morro Bay Harbor. There are just a few photos of our family sprinkled throughout the roll of color side film. Here is Barbara, we called her granny with Alex, her first grandchild squeezing orange juice for the family breakfast. Alex is 3 years old in this photo. The next photo of our family has Frank White with Alex, baby Francis and his sister Kathleen sitting on a park bench in Los Osos. The last photo of my family is of Alex White on her daddy's shoulders with the Morrow Rock in the background of the harbor. The final photo is of a family leaving Giovanni's Fish Market with their purchases. I looked up the shop and as of today in 2026 it is still in the same location, and the facade of the store looks the same!
