It was my first trip to the east coast in 1980 and I thoroughly enjoyed it with Frank White who was to become my husband in 1983. First on our itinerary was a visit to Lebanon, Pennsylvania where Frank White and his family are from. We move on to the Franklin institute in Philadelphia, Gettysburg with Frank's youngest brother Eric, who at the time was only 4 years old compared to Frank's 28 years. What could smell more delicious than cocoa being roasted, which is what you see in the photo of the Hershey Chocolate plant in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Continuing on toward New Jersey where you see a gal at Atlantic City with rhinestone frames and white hair. As we're driving to the Jersey shore, we passed nude girl sex show porn theater on the turnpike. On to the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia, the Rodin Museum, our dear friends George and Lori singley, Rags the dog, followed by Paul Sosnowski, graphic signs, firehouse in Philly, Ben Franklin on top of the City Hall building where no buildings can be taller than his hat, although it looks like some of them are. We finish it up with a Ben Franklin look alike where you could take a photo with him and ride an old fashioned horse and buggy although it looks more like a mule carriage. The last photo is taken at the Franklin institute of a model train exhibit. See more photos of Lebanon PA in the 1981 album.
FYI, these are color slide photos. Thanks!
