MIA, YAYA LILLIAN & JEANNE 1975_43
Contained within these photos is one of my top five images ever taken and that is frame #01. That photo is of my grandmother aka Yaya Lillian Vournazou Cotsones in Oak Lawn IL with her Great-granddaughter Mia Lum Ogden. The photo was used in the making of a handmade book for a photography class with Esther Parada at UIC in 1976. Frame #43 is a photo of Yaya Lillian with her youngest son John who is Mia's grandfather. Cousin Jeanne who taught me everything I know is in frame #05 with her newborn daughter Mia who became my Godchild. Yaya Lillian is in frame #01, 02, 03, 04, 07 and 08. Baby Mia can be seen in frames 39, 40 and 41 in her first visit to Chicago. Thank you, Yaya and Mia!
