MERLE FROM BRONSON COLES STUDIO 1979_29
Here is a selection of random images on two strips of black and white film. The kids are cooling off under the stairs on a building when I photographed them. The older woman seems a little put off that I took her image. Here are two photos of a pregnant Merle Roda Brown in front of her car with mine in the background if you are able to pick out the back of a Gran Torino. I'm especially enamored by the Olds Cutless in front of the two-flat building with a garden apartment. Back in the day home owners would wrap a wooden frame house with asphalt shingles that resemble brick as in this photo. In 2023 very few examples of this kind of treatment exist. Either the buildings have been torn down or revamped with more modern preservation. Let's hope for the later. See you in the next roll of film, stay tuned!
