As a child of Greek immigrants born in Chicago in the 1950s, my life was immersed in the Greek-American experience in Chicago. That experience entailed, Greek school, the Greek Orthodox Church, Greek celebrations surrounded by my Greek family and friends. As a photography student in the 1970s I captured Greek life in Chicago as well as the multi-cultural events that included neighborhood festivals, music, dance and parades. Take a look back at a time that was minus social media, cell phones, cable television and countless other digital distractions. It truly was an analog world!
