Fans of the WLUP Radio Station brought a disco record and paid 98 cents to the double header between the White Sox and Detroit Tigers on July 12, 1979. The records were blown up in dumpster in between games the by disc jockey, Steve Dahl. A riot ensued making the baseball field unplayable and the second game of the double header was forfeited by the White Sox. Photos of Disco Demolition have appeared in Le Freak: An Upside Down Story of Family, Disco, and Destiny by Nile Rodgers,The Chicago Reader- Postcards From Disco Demolition Night The kids at Comiskey's Disco Demolition Night were alright, says photographer Diane Alexander White, Disco Demolition 25th Anniversary: The Real Story, BET-The Story of Disco, the movie The Weird World of Blowfly, WTTW's Remembering Chicago the 70's and 80's, Red Bull's Disco Demolition: Riot to Rebirth, BBC Four- Can You Feel It - How Dance Music Conquered The World, Deadspin-Before The Storm, After The Sunshine Band: The Prelude To Disco Demolition Night, the Vitra Museum's exhibit catalog for ‘Night Fever: Designing Club Culture 1960-Today’ in 2018, Oxford University Press- Disco Wars, ESTHETIC LENS MAGAZINE- 5 Questions, and the HBO documentary "The Bee Gees: How Can You Mend a Broken Heart." Photos from Disco Demolition have also appeared in the film, "The Woodstock of House" in 2021. More photos from Disco Demolition can be seen in the Netflix show called, "The Saint of Second Chances", about Mike Veeck the son of empresario, Bill Veeck who was owner of the White Sox at the old Comiskey Park. The photos can also be seen on American Experience, "The War on Disco", with photos from Disco Demolition, Bud Billiken and Maxwell Street. In 2024, a collaboration between the BBC/ PBS called, DISCO: SOUNDTRACK OF A REVOLUTION, Episode 3 Stayin' Alive featured my photos from Disco Demolition.

Exhibits included The Music Garage and The Beverly Arts Center in 2009, an exhibit at The Sulzer Regional Library called, Rock, Baseball, Kaboom! Disco Demolition, and a photo exhibit at SOHO House Chicago in 2017.
